Our HOW?
Creating an interactive Touch-for-Sound Canvas - it comes in 2 forms:
A video clip of touch buttons activating different sounds - to share the concept online
A physical canvas and frame of any dimension that can be transported in a delivery van
An Example of Criteria for selected images and sound tracks:
We suggest using between 5 to 7 sound clips, with a selection of sounds, song and comments. Here is the way we used this our canvas celebrating Nina Simone:
Welcome: your name and introduction (Eg Ms Nina Simone)
Expression of your inspiration, passion, vision (Eg. Music is my God)
Inspiring/celebrating an emerging future (Eg. Feeling Good)
Example supporting Inclusion or ‘finding voice’ (Eg. I was 12 years …)
Self-awareness of vulnerability (Eg. Fodder in my Brain)
Expression of difficult times (Eg. I went away … Trouble in Mind)
Acknowledging a supporting person/act (Eg. Drums)
